Recently I have been driving along Pruneridge Road in Santa Clara on Saturdays, and look what I found at one of the otherwise nondescript frontyards.
This dragon is a Chinese one, very different from the fire-breathing bat-winged dinosaurs of European myth. It is a collage of common animals: mouth of a crocodile, antler of a deer, nose of an ox, body of a snake, scales of a fish, and talons of an eagle. As one can see in the close-ups, this dragon has very pure blood.
Next time I will knock on the doors and try to get the story behind this magnificent guardian.
